Georgina Havilliard is the Queen of Adarlan, wife to the King of Adarlan, and mother of Dorian Havilliard and Hollin Havilliard.
Appearance[]
Georgina has auburn hair and green eyes.
Personality[]
Georgina is a very meek person. She is seen to be very docile around her husband and dutifully follows him without saying a word. She shows favoritism among her children, spoiling Hollin and ignoring his tantrums while not paying much attention to Dorian beyond looking for a wife for him. She also doesn't particularly care about Dorian's opinion for his future wife.
Georgina is thought of as flippant by the people of Adarlan, as she ignores her husband's actions and the state of her kingdom.
History[]
Georgina married the King of Adarlan, later giving birth to two sons. As Dorian, her elder son, reached a certain age, Georgina was eager to get him a betrothed and was quite keen on the idea of Kaltain Rompier reaching this position, despite her non-royal, though wealthy heritage. She also provides Dorian with a list of potential brides, which he later burns. She did not die when the glass castle shattered, and she and Hollin Havilliard were given the order by Dorian to remain at their mountain residence in Ararat.
Throne of Glass[]
She is shown watching a show with Kaltain, and later, talking to Dorian about potential brides, showing that she clearly wants Kaltain to be his wife, because of how beautiful and polite she is, but can't, because she is with Duke Perrington. She also says that a princess would be much better, but aside from Nehemia, there are no princessess left. She also shows that she clearly despises Nehemia. She also mentions a noble lady named Elise, and gives Dorian a list of potential brides, which he burns without looking at.
Relationships[]
Hollin Havilliard[]
Georgina seems to be concerned and very caring about her younger son, to the point of ignoring his tantrums and spoiling him greatly, even more than Dorian. She is greatly saddened when he is unable to come home because of the snow.
Dorian Havilliard[]
Georgina doesn’t pay Dorian much attention other than looking for a wife for him. In Empire of Storms, while Dorian and Rowan are fleeing the castle, they escape by a secret door in the queen’s room. The exit is hidden behind a portrait of “a beautiful auburn-haired young woman with a sapphire-eyed babe in her arms “. Dorian pauses to look at the painting, and Rowan can tell that the painting of Dorian and his mother is important to him.
