The Amulet of Orynth is an heirloom of House Galathynius. It contains a Wyrdkey.

Description[]

The Amulet of Orynth is a round disk with a cerulean front, on which a white stag carved of horn is set. There is a burning crown of gold between the stag's antlers, which symbolizes the immortal star that watches over the Galathynius family.

The Amulet's back is etched with Wyrdmarks that spell out the phrase Nameless is my price, a warning from its creator Brannon Galathynius.[1]

History[]

The Amulet was originally created by Brannon Galathynius in order to carry one of the three Wyrdkeys. He was the one who wrote the message on the back of the amulet as a warning for the descendant who would be forced to bring all the Wyrdkeys together and sacrifice themselves to seal them away.

The amulet became an honored heirloom of the Galathynius line, passed down through the family to people who needed its guidance. The Amulet was held by Evalin Ashryver until she passed it on to her daughter Aelin Ashryver Galathynius. The royal family was murdered that same night and Aelin ran away, but fell into a river and supposedly lost the Amulet. Unbeknownst to her, her rescuer Arobynn Hamel found the Amulet and took it for himself.
