Depends on the guards. Aedion could fight off 6 of the king's guards at once, so it depends on how skilled the guards are.
I really dont like the contrast with the colors. I prefer the white paperback covers.
Even Maeve and Rowan without the rest of the cadre could probably beat this trio. Aedion just has no skills apart from actual non magical fighting.
