This wiki is kind of dead lol

I'm not very active on fandom anymore so I can't monitor activity or anything, but there are high responses on polls so there MUST be people somewhere...

The point is, I think it might be possible to revive this place. If my memory serves me well I may have done a would you rather post a while back with the same intentions, but here we are again

So, this time we're doing three word story! This is pretty simple - each person drops three words to continue the story. Here we go!

Once, Aelin said

“She felt as if she had been crying without end for minutes now.Yet this parting,this final farewell...Aelin looked at Chaol and Dorian and sobbed. Opened her arms to them,and wept as they held each other. “I love you both,” she whispered. “And no matter what may happen,no matter how far we may be,that will never change.”

“We will see you again,” Chaol said,but even his voice was thick with tears. “Together,” Dorian breathed, shaking. “We’ll rebuild this world together.”

She couldn’t stand it, this ache in her chest. But she made herself pull away and smile at their tear-streaked faces, a hand on her heart. “Thank you for all you have done for me.” Dorian bowed his head. “Those are words I’d never thought I’d hear from you.” She barked a rasping laugh,and gave him a shove. “You’re a king now. Such insults are beneath you.” He grinned,wiping at his face. Aelin smiled at Chaol,at his wife waiting beyond him. “I wish you every happiness,” she said to him. To them both. Such light shone in Chaol’s bronze eyes—that she had never seen before.

“We will see each other again,” he repeated. Then he and Dorian turned toward their horses, toward the bright day beyond the castle gates. Toward their kingdom to the south. Shattered now,but not forever.”

So I was inspecting my book collection and I, out of curiosity, looked up the prices of the miniature charter collection copies of ToG since I happen to have them. I was shocked to see prices ranging from 15 USD to hundreds, because I originally got them for about 7 USD each. I wonder, though, if the miniature collection copies can be considered collector's editions? Because I do know that there is a collector's edition for the first book, and I assume there are special covers out there, too. Thoughts? And does anyone else own any collector's copies of ToG?

So I read these books whenever I went to the library sometimes I had to wait for weeks for the next books to come out because apparently some other kid was reading them at the same time🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ So for Christmas someone important to me got these!!! I was so excited and I’m still constantly reading them even though I finished reading the series like a year ago. My favorite book is definitely queen of shadows and I’m just so glad that I have these books a chance because when I was at the library that first day I couldn’t find anything good to read and I found TAB and omg I couldn’t stop crying over sams death. I couldn’t get enough of this series thank you so much sjm!!!!!!

I LOVE ToG, but unfortunately, since I am Spanish and have to read the books in Spanish, I still go for EoS. That's because it takes SIX MONTHS to translate each book, and I have to wait until May to read ToD.

But, as I said, I love ToG.

Which book in the ToG series, do you read or have read more than once?

I think I have read the first book about seven times in three weeks since I first began the series (it’s also my favorite one).

Also sorry if I am posting a lot.

I really enjoyed this book a lot. It was fun and exciting (as all the installments seem to be) and I’m still giving it five stars though.

However, there are two things that I didn’t really like about the book (everything else was fine and I loved how Lorcan got chewed out by Elide after he sold out Aelin to Maeve).

1. Maybe it’s just me but Weylan Darrow (hope I spelled his name right) seemed kind of useless in this book. I didn’t quite understand what his purpose is supposed to be here (I might find out more in Kingdom of Ash but for now, he seemed like a pointless character).

2. The confrontation between Aelin and Maeve, I was a little bit disappointed with. I still loved how Aelin planned ahead and the protagonists still got their armies but the way the confrontation unfolded…felt (not sure how else to say this) lackluster, in a way.

However, aside from those two things, there was still plenty of good things to outweigh the bad and Tower of Dawn is so far another excellent addition to this fantastic series.
