I am re-reading Crown of Midnight again, and I find Nehemia a bit mean with Celeana : she say that she’s a coward! I wouldn’t like to be called like that... But when she dies I can’t say this.

In fact I am at this very moment.

I feel truly sad : the sentence :” Nehemia was dead” killed me as a weapon would have.

But I think there were other ways than get killed, and I know that the friendship between Nehemia and Celeana was real but I can’t help and think that Nehemia played just and only with Celeana to pushed her to accomplish her destiny...

But I really love Nehemia, she resist to the king of Adarlan for her country and Erilea... She is such a hero!

So, that’s my dilemma...

PS : I wonder also sometimes if Nehemia had told Celeana that she knew whom she truly was, there are many clues that she knows and yet, Celeana doesn’t notice...

So I'm rereading Crown of Midnight and I'm almost at the part where Nehemia dies. I know that it states later in the series that Nehemia already knew she was going to die so that Celaena could get her shit together, but is Nehemia the one that coordinates her own death? Like does she tell Archer to hire Grave to kill her or does Archer just do it cuz he's an ass?

So yesterday (the 21st) was my birthday and my friends gave me a very big ToG surprise yesterday. When I went to school one of my friends led me across the school to a spot where all my other friends were waiting. Now they sang happy birthday and all and they gave me the traditional birthday glasses we pass around in our group BUT THEN they led me to a ”throne” (which was actually just a very plush royal looking red sofa that matched with my outfit) and they told me to “enjoy the show”. One by one they all came in front of me and acted out characters from ToG (the colors they dressed in were the colors associated with each character) and I had to guess who was who (all while sitting on my throne and eating cookies 😌) it was amazing and these guys are the best but just wanted to share this with you guys

Well he read ToG!!! So thing was we’d literally been friends for not even a week lol when I told him he should read it (cause he said he liked action books) and I told him to dm me when he started but he never did so I just thought he never read it but then today I’m talking with some other friends on a gc and ToG comes up (cause I’m yelling at another friend, my fake bf for those of you who know what I’m talking abt, to continue reading TAB cause he hasn’t read it in a month) and he (the new friend) says “oh yeah I read the first book”. So yeah we’re just talking abt that now and he RLY likes Nehemia lol

I dont think im mentally prepared to reread her death like i got attached for some reason

It’s friendship day today so let’s celebrate some of the best friendships in ToG:

Nobody can forget this iconic duo. Who would’ve thought they wanted to kill each other before?

Their bromance is just something else-

Sure their friendship wasn’t entirely truthful but their friendship was still great

They have stood by each other throughout everything that’s happened. Aelin came back for him when he was possessed and Dorian never stopped supporting Aelin. This is easily one of the best friendships in all of SJM’s books

Whatever these males say, they are the closest of friends. They’ve been through so much together (for centuries!) and even if they don’t always want to acknowledge it, we know that they’re best friends

How can I forget Aedion and Aelin. Aedion was Aelin’s first friend and even years apart couldn’t weaken their bond

Ok Fenrys and Aelin’s friendship was only showcased for 2 books but their bond was forged in the toughest of circumstances and it’s strong as anybody else’s friendships

Ofc there’s so many more amazing friendships in ToG and you guys can comment a fanart for a friendship I missed if you’d like.
