So I’m doing a reread right now, and just finished a reread of the first 3 ACOTAR.
I noticed something in Heir of Fire (I just started EoS)
Maeve’s described as having “violet, starry eyes”
Who else do we know with that eye description?!

Need help here- still hung up on this after reading all the books.
From my conclusion: Mora, Mala, Mab (Deanna) and Mauve (fake) are all sisters.
Mab: deeana (lady of the hunt) and connected to Aelin moms side (the mom also gave her water magic too) rival and sister to Mala
Mala: light and learning and fire.. Aelin has this bc she technically her great great.. aunt?
Mora: Rowan's bloodline..
Mauve: obvi not really a sis.
But I thought there was only three.
Someone explain to me how Mala fits into this..
Defiantly the best book of the series, this book was a masterpiece. A great ending to an insane series, the death of the thirteen was so poetic. They got the deaths they deserved and had been anticipated by me but it still hit me, it was really well written. The death of Erawan and Maeve were great too but my favourite part was the punishment Rowan exacted to Cairn for harming his mate. All in all a great book that I cherished every moment of!
*spoilers for rest of series**
Okay, so there are two things that I picked up on while rereading HoF. First off, Rowan and Aelin really have been able to do that silent conversation thing since the first day they met. I mean, I knew they were able to do it for a while, but I didn’t realize it was that soon after they met. Secondly, it’s so much different reading HoF now that I know that Maeve is Valg. It’s crazy to think that Rowan used to call a Valg Queen “my queen.” I know that he didn’t know Maeve was Valg, but still. It’s interesting to read it knowing certain things from reading the rest of the series. Anyone else have thoughts about it?
This is from when Aelin and Rowan go to meet Maeve at the end of HoF
Context: Anthril was King Brannon’s close friend and used to date Maeve. Maeve admits to Aelin that she killed Anthril after him and Brannon left with the keys.
I think that when he and Brannon “betrayed” maeve and left with the keys (because she wanted to do harm with the keys) that Maeve didn’t kill him. Instead she got him to swear the blood oath somehow… and the healer/owl that is always with her IS ANTHRIL HIMSELF. I don’t think she ever killed him!
(also i’d like to think that Connall was friends or dating whoever the owl is… and that’s how maeve got him to stab himself)

Also sorry if I am posting a lot.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. It was fun and exciting (as all the installments seem to be) and I’m still giving it five stars though.
However, there are two things that I didn’t really like about the book (everything else was fine and I loved how Lorcan got chewed out by Elide after he sold out Aelin to Maeve).
1. Maybe it’s just me but Weylan Darrow (hope I spelled his name right) seemed kind of useless in this book. I didn’t quite understand what his purpose is supposed to be here (I might find out more in Kingdom of Ash but for now, he seemed like a pointless character).
2. The confrontation between Aelin and Maeve, I was a little bit disappointed with. I still loved how Aelin planned ahead and the protagonists still got their armies but the way the confrontation unfolded…felt (not sure how else to say this) lackluster, in a way.
However, aside from those two things, there was still plenty of good things to outweigh the bad and Tower of Dawn is so far another excellent addition to this fantastic series.

(big koa spoilers ahead)
In KOA, When maeve tells connall to shift and speak the truth does he? Does connall really mean to call fenrys a disgrace? And does he still want to serve maeve after she makes him plunge a knife into his own heart????
(Also i’ve only read half of koa so please no spoilers for the ending)
I’ve read all the books apart from the cc ones and the last acotar
Maeve is hot
Yuh that’s all
Hello Everyone, I'm Back. I was just away to complete Air Force Training. You might not recognize my user now, but I was ACityOfGlassRoses. How've you all been?
I was also wondering if we, as a Fandom, actually know what material was used for the weapons in the last battle of KoA, since it describes them as shiny black?
Guys ! I have a theory !!!
I think that Aelin and her companions are the new Gods !!
I KoA she kills the gods and she survive...
At the end of the book, when she is fighting against Maeve, Maeve tells her something like that ;
”too bad there is no god for watching your back now that you killed them.”
And then Aelin just answer:
”I am a God”
And if she were right ?! I mean, and if she were really Mala’s Heir ?!!!
So that would mean that Lorcan is Hellas’ Heir, Elise is Anneith’s heir,
Manon, the Three-faced-goddess, Yrene would be Silba’s heir, Nesryn : Neith heir...
Omg, that’s incredible!!
Let me know if I missed someone...
Then, goodbye!!

Despite what most people think and what I honestly used to think I think Lorcan loved Rowan and a brother way I don’t think they were ever enemies. They fought together for most of their immortal life, he taught Rowan everything he knows. I think he was hell a salty that Rowan left him I took the blood oath to Aelin because he thought he and Rowan would serve Maeve together forever. He didn’t tattle on Rowan when the cadre came to help in Heir of Fire, he took the punishment so Rowan wouldn’t have to suffer. And he didn’t tell Rowan because he didn’t want him to feel guilty. When Aelin was taken by Maeve in EOS I found out Rowan and Aelin were mates and married, I think that killed him on the inside. It killed him to know Rowan lost his mate and wife, again. To see him broken like that, again. He never wanted to see Rowan in that kind of pain.
Lorcan never hated Rowan, and I don’t think Rowan ever truly hated him either. They’re brothers to the end.
