So yesterday (the 21st) was my birthday and my friends gave me a very big ToG surprise yesterday. When I went to school one of my friends led me across the school to a spot where all my other friends were waiting. Now they sang happy birthday and all and they gave me the traditional birthday glasses we pass around in our group BUT THEN they led me to a ”throne” (which was actually just a very plush royal looking red sofa that matched with my outfit) and they told me to “enjoy the show”. One by one they all came in front of me and acted out characters from ToG (the colors they dressed in were the colors associated with each character) and I had to guess who was who (all while sitting on my throne and eating cookies 😌) it was amazing and these guys are the best but just wanted to share this with you guys

These were the characters they played:

I got a comic, a interactive/diary style book, 2 necklaces, couple gift cards, and some candles and an aroma diffuser to use while reading too lol

I just need to *sobbing* say that i loove kaltain soo muuch and it's so sad that we never got to know her before she was under perringtons/erawans influence... She is so strong. If she wouldnt had destroyed 1/3 of morath aelin would have lost the war.

And can we appreciate how she was so strong that she killed the valg that POSSESSED HEER. I. MEAN. DAMN. GIRL.

I love how the most important things werent made by the main characters.

Kaltain gave aelin a wyrdkey and destroyed morath.

Yrene killed erawan.

I LOOOOVE YOUU QUEEENS.

Did you know that the title Queen of Shadows is talking about Kaltain?

*sigh* All the angry characters I see hahahah, well they were angry at first.

I love that Sarah made Kaltian out to be a snotty b*tch in ToG and CoM but than was like nope Kaltian is a bad ass heroine who destroyed half of Morath with this gift called shadowfire that no one else has

So I’m rereading tog as I’ve said on many post before lol and I just can’t stop thinking about this one thing. I feel like Kaltain is just an unappreciated version of Lysandra Bcs hear me out...

Both of them...

• We’re abused by a man who they were forced into a relationship with (perington and arobynn)

• Aelin Hates them both when we first get to know them

• Both are courtiers who are jealous of aelin at some point in their lives

• Both turned out to actually be amazing and powerful woman who deserve respect

• Both sacrificed themselves to help out a small girl in need of help (Lysandra gave up her chance of one day getting freedom by helping evangeline)

• Both have helped aelin in a massive way and without them everyone would have been doomed

Is Kaltain related to Aelin? Because she has Fire magic as well.
