Chaol Westfall

“She felt as if she had been crying without end for minutes now.Yet this parting,this final farewell...Aelin looked at Chaol and Dorian and sobbed. She couldn’t stand it, this ache in her chest. But she made herself pull away and smile at their tear-streaked faces, a hand on her heart. “Thank you for all you have done for me.” Dorian bowed his head. “Those are words I’d never thought I’d hear from you.” She barked a rasping laugh,and gave him a shove. “You’re a king now. Such insults are beneath you.” He grinned,wiping at his face. Aelin smiled at Chaol,at his wife waiting beyond him. “I wish you every happiness,” she said to him. To them both. Such light shone in Chaol’s bronze eyes—that she had never seen before.

“We will see each other again,” he repeated. Then he and Dorian turned toward their horses, toward the bright day beyond the castle gates. Toward their kingdom to the south. Shattered now,but not forever.”

SPOILER ALERT: Ok so the song ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ perfectly describes Chaol being hung up over Celaena when she’s moved on and become Aelin. Also about how she sorta cut him off and u guys need to listen to it pls. Also abt how Chaol is scared of Aelin

🚨🚨SPOILERS FOR CROWN OF MIDNIGHT AND ON AND THE WHOLE OF THE SHATTER ME SERIES 🚨🚨

Reading the Shatter Me series for the first time and I feel like Chaol and Adam are so similar. Like they both fell for this girl who was still in the process of discovering herself and when she finally decided to take a step toward embracing who she is Chaol and Adam both turned on them (them being Celaena and Juliette). They both said such awful awful things to their girl, made assumptions, acted like a jackass in general once they broke up all bc they couldn’t get over the fact that their ex was growing as a person. Ok now I have to say that Chaol’s reasons for doing so I personally understood more (didn’t agree with but at least it was understandable) and he didn’t go quite as far as Adam did (as far as I remember) but all in all they’re kinda similar. And Dorian and Kenji are a little alike too in regards to how their the best friend to both the girl and the guy but they ultimately support the girl

Ok so I wanted to see if we could come up with some fan castings for the supposed ToG tv show

So, I will start

So we changed it up a bit: instead of doing 2 characters we’re doing 1 character and 1 relationship now

Anyone have any actors in mind to play chaol? i’m casting every character and I only have a few ideas for chaol but I don’t like them.
