I just found these and wanted to share them cause they’re perfect representations of the letters:
Which book reminds you most of TOG or ACOTAR? (Not counting Beauty and the Beast)
For me it is the Lunar Chronicles
They have Glamouring, like in ACOTAR
The Lunar People basically have daemati powers or however you spell it.
The first book was based on Cinderella, like TOG.
And my strongest reason. The main plot twist in the first book is that the main character is the lost princess/heir to the throne that has been lost and everyone thinks she is dead. I mean, Princess Selene even sounds like Celaena.
Ok, I've only read the first book of the Lunar Chronicles, but this is my opinion
Am I the only one who imagined Aelin in the beginning of HoF like a pirate? This picture came into my head right after I started reading... I mean: She just sailed across an ocean and she lived on this bread thing and wine. Not very plausible but... Tell me it isn't just me😂
So remember when Arobynn beat Celaena in front of Sam and he screamed “I will kill you!!” Repeatedly cuz he doesn’t want to ever see Celaena in pain? Well in EoS when Maeve revealed she had hurt Rowan and Aelin screamed “I will kill you!!” At Maeve because it hurt Rowan for centuries. Friendly reminder that Sam loved Celaena as much as Aelin loved Rowan.
even after Sam died, Celaena still said “my name is Celaena Sardothien and I will not be afraid” because it gave Sam courage and it was a reminder of what Sam said cuz she loved him so damn much.
If Rowan dies he will still smell like Aelin’s lavender soap. Unlike Sam...
and now your heart is as broken as Sam’s body was after Rourke Farran tortured and killed him.
Ok so does anybody know the song "Lucky" by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat? It's a bit old, but I'm watching Glee and their cover of it is stuck in my head and I noticed that some of the lyrics fit Rowaelin perfectly.
All of these remind me of when Rowan was in Wendlyn and Aelin was in Rifthold after HoF and they couldn't bear to be separated by just an ocean and couldn't stop thinking abt each other:
"Do you hear me?/I'm talking to you/Across the water/Across the deep/Blue ocean/Under the open sky,/Oh my/Baby I'm trying/Boy I hear you/In my dreams/I feel you whisper/Across the sea/I keep you with me/In my heart/You make it easier/When life gets hard"
Oh and these lines jumped out cause its like what Celaena says abt Sam at the end of TAB. Samlaena not Roawaelin but still:
"I keep you with me/In my heart/You make it easier/When life gets hard"
And these remind me of Rowaelin:
"Every time we say goodbye/I wish we had one more kiss"
And the whole song is about being in love with your best friend, and Sam and Celaena were both the closest person to a best friend the other had (same thing with Rowan and Aelin). So yeah that's all :)
Cassian finding the musicians to record their music for nesta is just the same as Sam getting Celaena the music scores.
Celaena's fav. color is Blue.
Rowan's fav. color is Green.
Aelin's fav. color is Red.

[The ToG's Book Cover Colors.]
Celaena = TAB and ToG
Rowan = HoF
Aelin = QoS
Personally, I hate Celaena. I didn’t mind Throne of Glass but it almost killed me...
Here is why:
Although Arobynn raised her and made her the spicy thing is today, and he forced her to be better than the other assassins in the Guild, I still think Celaena has an attitude problem although Arobynn kind of made her like that. I feel like she is way to disrespectful and too sassy... I hate those kind of people... 🤭🤫🙏🏽 I mean the whole thing in TAB where she legit owned Rolfe’s office was kind of unprofessional and unnecessarily added. I know Sarah would have wanted a funny, cool protagonist but some things to me were just... so childish. It didn’t help that Celaena was only a teenager so she wasn’t an adult yet... and some teens are just snobs, but not y’all. Oh I can’t even say the right words-
The fact that she was so girly almost killed the living patience out of me. Imma get rude but stAP COMPLAINING ABOUT YOUR HIGH HEELS GIRLFRIEND, who cares if a little bit of blood got on them... and there were so many paragraphs of what she would wear and just- Throne of Glass will always be a personally special series to me but only because of meeting y’all through it. And that’s not what this is aboouuutttt, but it felt more like a romance series. I am not fond of romance, really, although my mother caught me reading a bit of Danielle Steel this morning but the plot was way too good so- but Throne of Glass... the book, was a bit cliché and had an a very cliché (which fricken è is it-) love triangle between Chaol, Celaena and the all-loveable Prince Dorian HaveYouGotMyNumber. It was easy for me to read and turn pages because I knew what was going to happen. We’ve seen this romance triangle before in MOVIES. And the plot or problem in Throne of Glass was hardly the actually plot... it was more so about the romance Celaena was concerned about which kind of pissed me off.
I really hate how Celaena acted. Despite her being raised by Arobynn in some sort of twisted competition against Lysandra and Sam, and despite her ability to thrash and kill anyone who dares to challenged her oh so holy presence, I felt that she could have at least been a little more respectful. I’ve actually forgotten her being so nasty but when she first met Rolfe, I found it really immature to just swing her legs up and act liked she owned the place. Being raised in a family of discipline and what not (I’m not attacking y’all for not having strict as hell parents; there are other ways people discipline their kids 👍🏽 But if you’re a brat...) and when others found it badass or cool, I simply found it really damn annoying that she couldn’t just wait for the damn Pirate Man to get out and interview her. Okay, I know Sarah just wanted a cool as ice character, and her age backs her up because some teens I’ve met (again, not y’all) are really pathetically rude, Celaena then had never heard of the word “respect” at all... and I realised that I’ve already written about this and that it’s just different wording treating what I said in point one... which point they’re is actually pointlessly pointless 👍🏽💀
I might just say this again but she is an assassin... you don’t see Ezio Auditore screaming his head off because he dipped his shoe in blood-
The fact that Celaena has more exes-made-friends again is actually realistic: for me, it signifies that searching for romance isn’t the first man (or woman) you meet. Obviosuly, if you didn’t like the last person and meet a new one like him or her, then you wouldn’t want a round two would you? Not that I’m trying to get a date, but just saying that’s a common realistic issue in the world and I can tOlErAtE reading about.
Okay, the back of Throne of Glass really deceived me because I thought it’d be a really cool book about gore and everything but it was just watered down smut that was really easy to read 🤷🏽♀️ Again, this is pointless because I already gave a more detailed point about this point above there somewhere ^ 😅
My favourite character (here we go) is Gavriel and let me tell you new users why....
Although Gavriel never knew about Aedion, once he did, not once did he think twice about trying to protect his son. It was as if he knew that the world wouldn’t give him enough time to spend it with him and he constantly tried to bond with Aedion. I have forgiven Aedion for what he did because that’s real enough for me and I can see myself doing exactly that (I like being able to relate to the person’s issues or perspective) and the fact that Gavriel sacrificed himself for the Kingdom and Aedion both was just like the sacrifice his true lover, Aedion’s mother made. And it’s sad because characters like Gavriel don’t get to live. Personally, Gavriel is what I picture what a father should be like, and I know it’s a sore area for some people and I’m really sorry if I’ve offended you through this topic.
Now again, I’m really sorry if I’ve offended y’all or touched a sore area (because Sarah is actually so great she incorporates real life problems in her books and the problems aren’t great... idk) but yeah, this is my “Random statements” and I hope I haven’t ruined your day by tempting you to write an essay back to me that will probably set my views elsewhere.
Celaena Sardothien: Sell-Lay-Nuh / Sar-Doth-ee-en.
Chaol Westfall: Kay-all / West-fall.
Dorian Havilliard: Door-ee-en / Have-ill-yard.
Aelin Ashryver Galathynius: A-lynn / Ash-river / Gal-la-thin-ee-us.
I am rereading Heir of Fire, and if you read page 112 it hints that Chaol and Celaena did it on his desk.
