He’s especially irritating in the first half of Queen of Shadows. Honestly, it was in the first book that I liked him but after he inadvertently got Nehemia killed (by not letting Celaena or Dorian know about the threat on her life), then I started to not like him.

Granted, his father is worse.

Ngl I never really shipped Chaolaena either. But that was more so bc I still wasn’t over Dorlaena rather than disliking chaol
