Why are there two different categories for the same thing?
I'm talking about [[Category:Female characters]] and [[Category:Females]] and the same for males.

I don’t know for sure but maybe it’s bc we also have pages for real ppl that contributed to ToG on the wiki. So the real ppl would only go in the female/male categories
Hi, it's because the Female characters category should have the female characters of non-Fae species only, and the category Females should have only characters of the Fae species that are female, same for Male characters and Males. I was organizing the categories a while ago and came across that explanation. Also, there are many nonsensical categories in the wiki that should be removed. I come here from time to time and organize a bit but it's a lot to do.
You can see here the note from the admin when they created the page: https://throneofglass.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Male_characters?action=history
Edit: I noticed that the confusion is because another user removed the note from the admin as you can see in the page's history, I've reverted it.
@Tamirobson It still feels redundant but thanks for explaining.
I'm not saying is not redundant lol but that's the reason why, and no problem.❤️
Does anyone know the consensus for demi-fae characters?
What do you mean the consensus?
Sorry my brain was fried, I meant is there an agreed-upon decision on what category demi-fae should be sorted into?
What do you think?
