And I agree, too much smut. Especially since the acotar series is read by 14-18 yo (at least on this wiki) it's too much

Yup, Hopefully Az's book doesn't have too much smut. Also she left so many cliff-hangers. Does anyone remember that theory about something being under Ramiel,and when Amren suggested Rhys becoming High King.

Like May said, there was absolutely ZERO balance. Romance is one thing, I mean ACoTaR is a romance series we knew what we’re getting into, but this book had more smut than any actual plot (romance, fantasy, or otherwise)

One of the few things I liked abt this book tho was that we got more insight into Eris’ character. He’s definitely got some plan in motion and I’m interested to see if he’ll be revealed as actually a good person or just kept as evil. I want to say that SJM would definitely explore that arc but after she made Nesta’s powers disappear without exploring them first…there’s no guarantee that she won’t skip over Erie’s arc too

@QueenofStars338 I really hope she explores it bc in acosf she talked about mor and eris and how she wasn't exactly saying the truth... She better not leave us on a cliffhanger like this

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who thought ACoSF had too much smut. It felt like the plot was thrown out the window to make room for it. Of course I knew it'd be steamy, I knew that it would probably be a bit more graphic since it's an adult novel, this was just..too much. I do think Nesta had nice development though!

Have you guys read Azriel’s bonus chapter? I feel like she kind of didn’t stick to Az’s character in that chapter…she kind of made him like Rhysand and Cassian in the respect of dirty thoughts. I’m not saying he couldn’t have those thoughts, I just don’t see Az thinking those things if you see what I mean.

I see what you mean. I disagree with you tho, we haven’t actually had much of Az characterized so that means him acting like that is perfectly plausible. Maybe we’ve just romanticized him 🤷‍♀️

I really hope she doesn't make Azriel horny. I would really like to know Az's personality. It was kinda okay with Cassian cause we already knew what he was like, but we know nothing about Azriel.
