Lol I like how no one chose ACOTAR.
Poor Inner Cirlce
I love both series b/c they have an amazingly badass, relatable cast of characters. However, I prefer ToG b/c the world and plot is so much more intricate and you get more insight and development of each character with the diff POVs. In ACOTAR, Lucien disappears to the human lands and returns during the war out of nowhere with close to no explanation. But in ToG, we actually get Chaol's experience in the Southern Continent which develops a new land, customs, culture, etc. and serves as character development for Chaol which we do not get for Lucien. Ultimately for me, the deciding factor is the multiple POVs, where we get to have a first-hand experience of each character's internal struggles which make the ToG books that much more powerful and beautiful. <3 <3 But still, all the love for the Inner Circle and ACOTAR!!!
Lol no one voted of ACOTAR. Tbh ToG is way better than ACOTAR ;)
There was a time when I preferred ACOTAR over TOG, and maybe that time will return again, but for now...for now I prefer TOG. Aelin, with her cunningness yet kindness, Rowan who underwent a drastic change from the cold male he was, my favourite Fenrys for all he had done <3, Lysandra, Manon, Dorian, Aedion, Gavriel, Elide, Lord Lorcan Lochan (there will never come a day I won't laugh at his title hahaha), even the mysterious Vaughan...and more...they are characters that I have grown to love and cherish, and I feel sad to say goodbye to them :")
Does this mean SJM needs to up her ‘ACOTAR-writing-game’ a little or does it mean we like ToG too much (if that’s even possible)?
I mean, we've all been with TOG for 7 books and only with ACOTAR for 3. It makes sense that we'd connect more with TOG than ACOTAR, especially since we've been with both Erilea and Celaena/Aelin more than we've been with Prythian and Feyre.
